Individual History

The individual history of Mid-Atlantic Boiler & Chimney, Inc. marks the fabrication and installation of numerous C-276 alloy and
C-276 alloy clad steel, stainless steel, and carbon steel stacks and chimney liners in the USA. We have built everything from single-wall stack liners with intricate internal liquid collector systems with projections exceeding 30'-0 above the concrete column.

Fabrication Capabilities

With the capability to fabricate and form most metals, from alloy, alloy clad, stainless steel and carbon steelto Hastelloy and inconel, and having constructed stack liners ranging from 31'-0 diameter 550' to 800'-0 tall, MAB&C has the expertise to provide our customers with the exact stack or chimney their project requuires. MAB&C has a design and CAD detailing department that can engineer a soultion for our customer's various needs.

Immense Expeience

Mid-Atlantic Boiler & Chimney, Inc. has immense experience in shop fabrication and field erections of large emission stack alloy and carbon liners for the power industry. MAB&C has constructed numerous emission stack liners for coal fired power plants, and has for many years provided maintenance service for those stacks in both planned and emergency shutdown situations. In today's power industry natural gas fired power plants are representing an ever increasing percentage of the total energy output. Right along with the power industry MAB&C has been involved in all stages of production of emission stacks for both simple cycle power plants and combined cycle power plants. This experience allows MAB&C to construct emission stacks in an efficient manner without sacrificing SAFETY or QUALITY which is why MAB&C is so valued by our customers.

Our Specialty

MAB&C fabricates and installs alloy and alloy clad chimney liners and vessels throughout the continental United States. Our main emphasis is on shop-fabricated and field-erected chimney liners constructed of solid C-2767 alloy and alloy clad, stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and exotic alloys which we have the ability to design and shop detail as well. We also specialize in larger, more complex shop fabricated tanks, pressure vessels, and other welded steel plate structures.

Our primary markets are the power and petro-chemical industries. Throughout our history, MAB&C has kept pace with the latest technology in the fabrication and erection business and is certified to build ASME Code pressure vessels and commonly builds tanks to API, AWWA, and many other design standards.
